Firesleeve End Wrap Protection Tape is a non-adhesive yet self-amalgamating to itself and other silicone rubber sleeve and tape. It withstands high temperature, occasional flame and molten splashes, and exhibits stable chemical properties with resistance to fuel, oil, water, acids, and many other solvents.
It’s typically used as an end wrap tape for firesleeve, preventing hydraulic oils, dirt, sand or dust and contaminants leaking into the inside with better thermal insultation. When wrapped in a ring or spiral pattern under tension (stretched by app. 250%), the tape can fuse to itself in 24 hours at room temperature, no need to use heat or chemical sprays to set it. It’s easy to remove and leaves no sticky residue behind.
Standard thickness 0.5mm, width 25 38 50 mm, length 1, 3, 11 meter. Other size can be made upon request.
